Covid Status Certificates
Documents needed.
- Your EU Residency Certificate
- Passport
- Spanish sized passport photo
- Recent Padron if you’ve changed address
This Link is to the EX23 form which is the key application form. You only need to fill in the top section, provided you are applying for yourself ,and section 4 where you tick the second box on 4.2. Then print it, sign it and date it.
This link is to the payment form ES 790 which you fill in online then print the completed form. Take the form with the cash to any bank, they will stamp the form.Alternatively have it paid by direct debit.
You have to fill in personal details in the Identification section.
In the Autoliquidacion section, just leave it as principal.
In the next section go down to TIE (third group down in bold) and tick the last box that begins Certificado de registro de residente comunitario
Declarante Fill in your municipality in the Localidad box
Amount to pay is 12 euros, tick the first circle (en efectivo) if you intend to pay in cash at the bank, or the second circle (adeudo en cuenta) and your IBAN in the box below to have it debited it directly from a bank account.
Fill in the letters you see displayed in the security code then upload the form and print it

Go to bottom of page and hit button Acceder al Procedimiento
On next page selection from the drop down list of provinces Valencia then Aceptar
On next page click on the second box Tramites Cuerpo Nacional de Policia then in the dropdown list choose Policia-Exp Tarjeta Asociada al acuerdo de retirado cuidadanos británicos y sus familiares (Brexit) then Aceptar
Go all the way to the bottom of the next page and click the button Entrar
Fill in personal details (NIE) then (Name and surname) then Aceptar
On the final page you can choose your centre eg Gandia and available date then enter phone and email details to receive the confirmation of the meeting date.
Just one think to note, Alicante Province doesn’t have many appointments available, but people who live in Orba for ex. and other municipalities that fall under Alicante, are unable to register in Valencia. (Just in case you have people that ask you. I spoke with the Policia Nacional in Gandia and they said it is impossible to process out-of-province applications).
