Have you ever wanted to learn how to play an acoustic guitar but worried about showing yourself up in class?
Worry no more. We have a member who has volunteered to teach our members how to play an acoustic guitar or to learn flamenco guitar playing. (for Flamenco you will need a Flamenco/Spanish Guitar with nylon strings). No experience is necessary. He can teach from scratch, folk music, pop music, whatever you wish to learn, How good is that?
Gertjan, used to be a music teacher /guitar teacher, before retiring and now he has itchy fingers to use his skills and knowledge; and we are the lucky recipients. He is also offering Flamenco guitar lessons as well.
Please let him know which type of guitar and/ or music genre you are interested in.
And as Gertjan is a u3a member there is no charge for his lessons. There may be a small charge for photocopying.
He also speaks German, Dutch and French too, so a great help if English isn't your first language.
Don't forget to include your name (if different from the email address) and your membership number when registering for the group.
