Amble:

Date:
Alfauir “Dentre Tarrongers”

Tuesday 11th April, 2023.
Start Time & Duration
We meet at 11.00am for coffee at Bar “El Murtar” in Alfauir. Starting the amble at 11.30. After the amble we will have lunch at El Murta. Menu to follow.
Route & Description
The route is on good paths and roads. From “El Murta” we walk along the side of the river which we cross over after about 1K. We then walk up to the restored “Riu Rau” raisin drying house. We then follow the left bank of the river for a while before gently climbing through orange and almond groves up to the viewing point. Here we can stop and admire the views. After our break we continue to amble our way back to the river and on to Alfauir. Approximately an amble of 6K and 90 minutes duration.
How to get there
From Oliva travel west on the CV638 in the direction of La Font D’en Carros, straight over the round-a-bout at La Font D’en Carros and turn left at the next round-a-bout, heading in the direction of Gandia. Turn left at the next round-a-bout which will position westward and on to the CV60. Turn off at junction 32 and turn left at the round-a-bout and under the CV60 turn right at the next two round-a-bouts. After approximate 200m Bar El Murtar will be on the right. There should be plenty of parking.
