La Asociación de la Universidad de la Tercera Edad de Oliva (U3A Oliva) Annual General Meeting This message is official notification that the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held at 11.30am on Thursday 25th May at Llar de Jubilats i Pensionistes. The purpose of the meeting is to deal with the following business: to approve the minutes of the May 2022 AGM to approve the annual audited accounts year ending 31st August 2022 to approve new Officers and Committee Members of the Association for the coming year to approve the annual subscription for 2023-2024 of €10 to answer any previously notified questions or issues that members have raised. At the AGM we are required to elect the Officers and Committee Members who have previously been nominated. As there has been just one member nominated for each Officer position and other Committee Members are willing to stand for another year, voting is unnecessary, but approval is required. Therefore, please register your APPROVAL for the Officers and Committee members via this online form: https://forms.office.com/e/1ZuJqpVAKM (If clicking the link doesn’t work, then copy and paste directly into your browser.) As the Constitution requires a minimum AGM attendance of 50 people to constitute a quorum, the quorum will be formed from the number of online replies received from registered members, together with attendance at the meeting. All paid-up members of the Association are encouraged to attend the AGM at Llar de Jubilats i Pensionistes. Please advise the Secretary by email by 5pm on 19th May if you wish to attend, to send your apologies, or if you have any difficulties accessing the document links: secretary@u3aoliva.org We also encourage you to submit any questions or queries by 19th May so appropriate responses can be compiled to be shared at the meeting.
