We are pleased to announce the first of our travel team's trips!

Your new travel team has been working hard since its inception to develop new outings for you, the Oliva U3A members. We have decided to partner with a local and well-established travel agency to provide our further trips, allowing us to use their local knowledge and expertise.

We can now announce our first trip of the 22-23 season -
|
a Pre-Christmas trip to Valencia on Tuesday 13th December.
|
As most of you know, Valencia is the capital of the Valencian region of which Oliva forms part. It is a thriving metropolis dating back to the Romans in 138 BC, with plenty of museums, monuments and shops for you to enjoy. The Cathedral, the Silk Exchange and the Mercado Central are always well-worth as visit, while the Christmas nativity exhibition (Belen) in City Hall and the Christmas lights and craft markets spread across the city provide a lovely festive backdrop.

The trip consists of a bus trip from Oliva including a refreshment break en route, six hours in the city centre before boarding the bus home at 17.00.
|
|
Included is an English-speaking guide and a panoramic bus tour of the city.
|
Costs depend upon numbers booked, but will range from 25-30€ p.p., with between 30 and 40 participants.
