Join your u3a for a festive day out in Denia - topped off with a tasty Christmas Carvery. Christmas jumpers optional!
Join us for a trip to picturesque Denia - for Christmas Shopping, strolling along the promenade, visiting Magazins for a cocktail maybe, or just people watching......a lovely place to do all of these. You'll have around 4 hours to yourselves.
Then we're off to the Black Flame for a Christmas Carvery with all the trimmings. The meal has been reserved for 6pm. We'll spend a couple of hours enjoying some delicious food choices before heading back to Oliva, hopefully for 9pm.
Your menu
You don't need to choose in advance - just pick your starters and desserts on the night.
Starter: Homemade soup, Prawn Cocktail or Pate
Main Course: Beef, Pork and Turkey served with stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and a selection of fresh vegetables.
Dessert: Christmas Pudding, Sherry Trifle, Chocolate Brownie or Toffee Meringue Glace
Booking your places
Your ticket includes your return bus travel and your three course carvery. And it's just 35€ for u3a members.
Non members pay a 5€ surcharge. But if they're eligible, maybe suggest they join us first to get the discounted rate!
We're picking up at 6 different stops - Gandia Carrefour (12:00), Bellreguard (12:05), Palmera (12:10), Oliva Cafe Salva (12:15), Oliva playa Tourist Info (12:25) and Oliva Polivalent (12:30). And we should be back in Oliva around 21:00.
PLEASE NOTE THIS TRIP IS NON-REFUNDABLE. BUT IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING, YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR PLACE RATHER THAN LOSE IT.
