Our next day trip will be on Thursday 25th June and we're heading to the beautiful town of Guadalest located in a mountainous area of the comarca of Marina Baixa, in the province of Alicante. Guadalest has an area of 16 km² and, according to a previous cencus, around 200 inhabitants. The views are spectacular and the castle is beautiful. There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants, enough to keep you occupied for a few hours.

In the afternoon we will travel down the mountain to Villajoyosa to visit the Valor Chocolate Factory. Here you will see how they produce their products and have a chance to sample some at the end of the tour - also purchase from the shop should you wish.

We will leave to travel to Guadalest at 11 and will return from Villajoyosa at 17.45 after the tour.
