Join us for an immersive day out at the award winning Pompeii experience in Valencia.
The Last Days of Pompeii takes visitors on a journey to the Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Combining historical storytelling with cutting-edge technology, the exhibition offers a glimpse into everyday life in one of the most fascinating cities of the Roman Empire and allows visitors to experience the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, one of the most dramatic events in history.
With more than 1500 square metres of installations, the exhibition features spectacular 360º immersive projections, virtual reality experiences, interactive spaces, and a selection of historical reproductions and artefacts that transport visitors back to ancient Pompeii.
After the tour, you'll be dropped in central Valencia for sightseeing, shopping or a bite to eat.

Your ticket includes guaranteed access to the Pompeii Interactive exhibition, and English language tour and your return bus trip too.
Tickets are just 28€ each for u3a members. Friends, family and visitors are welcome too - they'll pay the non member rate of 33€. Or encourage them to join us and save the surcharge.
We'll be picking up at six stops - Oliva Polivalent (08:00), Oliva playa Tourist Info (08:05), Oliva Luis Vives School (08:15), Palmera (08:20), Bellreguard (08:25) and Gandia Carrefour (08:30).
And the bus will collect us at 16:00 for our return trip home.

Peter Banks is currently exhibiting his photosculptures at the La Llotega gallery in Valencia (near the central market). And he has formally invited all u3a members to come and see his exhibition. There's no charge to view the exhibition.
Combining photographic imagery with three-dimensional construction materials—including card, timber, wire, acrylic, glass, and mirror—Peter’s works range from intimate, hand-held pieces to large-scale gallery installations.
We can't generally offer refunds on our trips. But you may be able to resell your place yourself. If a refund is offered, we may charge an admin fee to cover our costs.
