On Wednesday 20th March, u3a are offering an extra special trip to Altea with two special options - one for shoppers and one for petrolheads!
Option 1
For the shoppers, there’s plenty of time to spare at the La Marina centre - the largest in the region, with more than 100 stores and restaurants. From C&A to H&M, and Mango to Zara, there’s something for everyone.
For shoppers, the trip costs 15€ per person, including coach travel. For guests who aren't u3a members, the cost is 20€
Option 2
And for the motor fanatics, there’s a trip to the nearby Motor Museum. You’ll find more than 80 cars on display. Highlights include a 1923 Dodge, 1962 Cadillac and even a Delorean DMC-12. It’s a great way to see the history of automobiles brought to life.
For people visiting the museum, the trip costs 26€ per person, including coach travel. For guests who aren't u3a members, the cost is 30€
For everyone
The trip ends up in beautiful Altea, where you can walk through the cobblestone streets of the old town, and discover its white houses.
It’s one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, and absolutely worth a visit.
