One of the main benefits of joining the u3a is the opportunity to participate in our groups and clubs. We have a wide variety of interest groups running very successfully – use the list on this page to find out more about each one. Remember that you must be a u3a member in order to take part in our interest group activities. If you're not, then join now - it's only 10€ a year. If you want to join a group, or have any questions, you will find contact details for the group leader on each group's page. Chair Yoga (potential new group)
Chair yoga is a modified form of yoga that allows you to practice yoga poses while seated or using a chair for balance. It’s accessible, safe and adaptable, making it suitable for all individuals, including those with mobility limitations.
It focuses on the same core principles as traditional yoga, breath awareness, mindfulness and self-care. It offers benefits such as improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, stress reduction and an overall sense of well-being. This would be a weekly session at 2.50€ per session.
